The FoodScan 2 Fish is a rapid, accurate, and easy-to-use NIR instrument specifically designed for analyzing fish meat at all stages o fproduction, from raw materials to finished products. Key features include fast analysis with results delivered in 15to 25 seconds depending on sample size, and simultaneous measurement of fat, moisture, protein, salt, and colour in the CIE Lab format. The system is pre-calibrated with global artificial neural network calibrations and supports additional parameters such as pH. It uses NIR transmission and reflectance technology operating within the 850 1100 nm and 400 700 nm ranges.  Amonochromator-based system ensures high spectral precision.
