The Bio-Rad QX200 Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR) System offers absolute quantification of DNA or RNA targets without standard curves. It partitions each sample into approximately 20,000 nanoliter-sized droplets. PCR amplification occurs within these individual droplets. Post-amplification, the system digitally counts positive and negative droplets, providing precise target copy numbers. This unparalleled sensitivity is ideal for detecting rare DNA targets, accurately determining copy number variations (CNV), and precisely measuring gene expression. The system includes the QX200 Droplet Generator and QX200 Droplet Reader, along with necessary consumables and software.
